Broadway rising star 23 year old Maya Boyd starred as Juliet in the Broadway hit production of & Juliet (a remixed Shakespearean love story scored by the pop hits of Max Martin). This spring 2026 she will take the Broadway stage alongside Taraji B Henson and Cedric the Entertainer in August Wilson’s revered play Joe Turner Come and Gone, directed by Emmy winner Debbie Allen and produced by Oscar winner Denzel Washington.
Growing up idolizing both major pop and R&B stars + classically trained in all styles of dance, piano, and guitar, Maya is a triple threat embarking on her own original music career. Influences are rooted in 90s R&B, confessional storytelling and artists ranging from Alicia Keys, Cassie, Aaliyah, Lauryn Hill, early Beyoncé as well as contemporaries like Yebba and Ariana Grande.
